FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Meeting Management Training

Effective Meeting Management training can help make attendees aware of the following:

o Learn how to have more productive meetings. During a typical meeting, people are given instructions or tasks. They are told to follow-up on those tasks or to do them differently based on the environment. The instructions can include setting the agenda, going over documents, asking for input, etc. This is known as the underlying framework of effective meeting management training because it teaches people how to perform the underlying task or jobs without having to do as much as providing instructions.

The second skill learned during a successful meeting management training course is facilitation skills. Facilitation is about being able to understand what other people want and how to facilitate them getting what they want. This concept is taught as part of the framework of effective meeting management training so that the trainer can learn how to improve his or her own communication skills and the ability to facilitate others. The trainer may need to work on this skill if he or she does not already possess it.

o Learn how to conduct meetings effectively. The most basic skills learned during a meeting management training class is how to conduct a meeting, which means how to conduct it in the most effective way possible. For example, a session could begin with an introductory statement that starts out with, "I would like the pleasure of your company to be met." Then, after identifying everyone who should be present at the meeting and giving them time to prepare, information about the agenda could be presented. As people respond, questions should be asked, and after voting on those questions, a summary of the meeting could be presented.

The main skill taught during a session is how to deal with personality conflicts. During a discussion between group members, it is natural for some to express disagreement and disagreeing viewpoints. However, when these personalities come into play during a meeting, good communication skills are essential for making it through the session without any disagreements. When an individual begins arguing with another member over a matter, the speaker might need to recognize the behavior and ask for a clarification before opening the meeting. The agenda may need to be changed to include more time for the discussion or a new item may need to be brought up. When dealing with difficult people, good negotiation is essential.

o Learning how to manage meetings means learning how to effectively communicate the objectives of the meeting to everyone attending it. A good training program will teach the presenter how to communicate their goals and objectives in a clear, concise manner to all attendees. It will help the presenter to manage their time better, find ways to attract the attention of participants, provide solutions to problems, encourage participation, and close the meeting on time. Learning how to communicate well also includes observing other's body language and adopting similar behaviors. When attending a productive business meeting, other team members know what is expected of them, so it becomes easier to fulfill the goals and objectives.

o Meeting management training will help a presenter become a more efficient Facilitator. Each facilitator is in charge of making sure that every meeting goes smoothly, by maintaining order, eliminating distractions, and resolving any issues before they develop into larger problems. Learning facilitation skills will not only improve communication skills, but also make a presenter more effective at motivating team members and managing sessions. The process involves taking one topic and breaking it down into many smaller topics that make it easier to relay important information. This method can be used to resolve any conflict, such as creating a schedule, planning a meeting, discussing problems, or even starting a problem solving process.

o Having successful meeting management training courses will allow participants to think more clearly. It will give them new ways to structure their meetings so they always have an open line of communication. It will also teach them how to plan successful sessions and use positive incentives to get attendees to attend. In these new skills, participants will be able to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their workplace. The result will be increased productivity and profit, as well as fewer employee grievances.
